Fuck chat for teens - Dating a gynecologist

Only rarely do I hear from women who are sexually excited or aroused in response to having a gynecological exam. That doesn’t mean that more women aren’t excited by the idea or reality of a gyn exam – however, I know of no scientific data on the topic that would suggest how rare or common this is.

Gynaecology or gynecology (see spelling differences) is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive systems (vagina, uterus, and ovaries) and the breasts.

Literally, outside medicine, the term means "the science of women".

To some, going to the gynecologist (aka gyno) for the first time may be scary.

But the truth is, it’s one of the first steps that women and folks with vaginas take toward adulthood — maybe like getting your period or buying your first bra.

Unfortunately, in our society, we’ve been conditioned to see our vaginas as something shameful, only to be talked about when “appropriate” — such as during childbirth.

This perpetuation of silence and shame is what creates the unnecessary fear that evolves around going to the gyno.

There are a lot of things you do once a year – celebrate your birthday, renew magazine subscriptions, make New Year’s resolutions, oftentimes break those resolutions and, if you’re a woman, you’re *supposed* to go to the gynecologist for an annual check-up.

I’m well aware that many young women have not been to the gynecologist before.

Maybe your period has been smooth sailing, but just to make sure everything’s working, you should continue to go in for an annual check-up. There are a lot of hormones involved in keeping your reproductive system running. And whether you’re sexually active in the context of a relationship or not, it’s important to think about these things.
